If you have wondered just what your pet was thinking, or how to get a message across to him/her – talk to Paulina. Shortly after we were “adopted” by four feral cats, we were referred to her by a friend. Calling her to come by and talk to us and the cats was the best decision we could have made for everyone involved.
Since my sister and I had come from a dog and small creature background (hamsters, fish, lizards, etc.) with nary a cat, we had no idea what we were “supposed” to be doing to care for these four particularly individual wild felines. It was oblivious to us that these four not only had their own personalities and peculiar traits, but they had never read any literature on what cats are “supposed” to be like. Although the so-called “cat experts’ may have dozens of books and websites out there (we know because we read most of then) you cannot truly communicate with your pet unless you can find a common link – and Paulina supplies that link.
Even before her actual arrival at our house for her first visit, Paulina had “connected” with our cats and let them know telepathically that she was coming and was willing to listen to what they had to say. What a novel idea – actually hear it from the horse’s mouth (or cat’s mouth in this case) instead of trying to guess what was going on in these furry little heads! Well, none of the cats was willing to meet her in person that day, but photos of the cats allowed her to read what their personalities were like, and what issues were going on at the moment. She told us that they were feeling and offered very helpful suggestions to help both them and us to start to get through this new transition.
About a week later, Paulina came by on a follow-up visit, and one of the cats decided to meet her and air his feelings. It was both an informative and moving experience to actually witness the communication going between the two of them. Since that time, all of the cats have “talked” to her and with her - in person, on the phone and across telepathic channels. Whether it was to voice a complaint about how one cat’s actions were irritating another one, fears about having to leave, criteria for what each wanted in their versions of a perfect home, what they had been doing that day or would be doing, a comment on what he/she liked to eat or do, etc., they let her, and us, know what was going one with each of them, both individually and as a group. It is our opinion that we received more useful information about each cat in the short time that Paulina was there then we could possibly have received in their (or our) lifetimes.
Paulina continues to be both a friend and voice to and for us, our cats and other animals.
Since we first met her, both the cats and we have settled into a more comfortable life together. And perhaps that’s the greatest benefit and blessing this we have received from having Paulina communicate with our cats – being able to understand that they have similar emotions and feelings, likes and dislikes, good and bad days –just like we do – and learn what cues to look for, how to deal with the individual animal’
Paulina, thank you for your compassion, friendship, knowledge, and sense of humor.
Love and blessings always – Marian & Betty
